Back to life, back to reality...

so happy to return back to UK to see some real art and I really did... What talent we have!
But before I got going I headed to Newham in the perfect storm where kids and parents and officials all had turned up to see their new park in Three Mills called WILD and wild it was and Wild it will be.
Finally some real art. I headed first to Camden Art Centre where our home grown enigmatic Eric Bainbridge who has become well acquainted with my good friend called Tracy.
One of Erics works, although not to my taste it does not mean the work is not good.
However a new discovery Simon Raven, I loved his performance!
Back at home at the ranch we open the Richard Sides show and our loyal supporters have turned up in their hundreds to support his installation. Definitely a must see, this is an art work that creeps up on you.
Laura Buckley and Richard Sides go way back.
The East End was bustling with good art and I was totally enamoured. My favourite was Wilkinson Gallery.The curator Karen Archey had created a fabulous show called How to Eclipse the Light and I was highly impressed.
The Chinese collective Madelin CompanyMy favourite was the work of young artist called Juliette Bonneviot her show was called Shanghai Gesture. She was working out what Chinese fusion means to her. I liked her interpretation very much.
I thought the Eileen Quinlans were very beautiful.
Ritter Zamet had a lovely show of Nick Darmtaedter the show was called Bells whistles can of worms, he was mentioned last December in my art diary when he had his first show. The show was called Bells and Whistles Can of Worms. My favourite was. “Red Bull without a Cause” Bravo...
A lovely show at Limoncello. All incredibly Zen showing the work of Jesse Wine not really my thing but I get it!

New show at Vilma Gold by Karthik Pandian - as always showing interesting artists. This work is a real trip!I have missed so many art fairs and Biennale’s this past month, The Vienna Art Fair, The Berlin ABC, The Shanghai Biennale, The Sao Paolo Biennale. Thank goodness Frieze is on my doorstep!
