I hosted a very special dinner for the University of Arts headed by the Rector Nigel Carrington and the Collectors Circle chaired by Richard Greer.
It was a very glamorous evening; the table for 30 was dramatically presented under the wonderful art work by Youn Joo Bae.
The evening was a discussion and everyone gave their views.
The most fun part was at the beginning when all the artists managed to say a little something about their work including Josh Baum, Jess Blackstone, Janine Lang, StrangMacfarlane.

Then it was off to the home of Freda and Isaac Uziyel. They had built a whole gallery in their basement and a sculpture park in their garden.
After the amazing chef Richard had made us a delicious meal, we headed downstairs to a wonderful tour by Freda and Isaac.<br><br>We were directed at the Tal R sculpture called Freda created after Freda.
Daniel Silver gave us a lovely introduction about his newest work which was a magnificent bronze outdoor sculpture.
Also inside the gallery was one of Daniel’s earlier pieces which was shown at the Camden Arts Centre.
There were some wonderful works including a magnificent work by Goshka Macuga and in the background a Paul McCarthy blow up sculpture.
Then it was checking out VIP art fair again, which I found fascinating. I must have spent about ten hours online and scrutinized nearly everything. I found the whole process very interesting and so much easier than walking around art fairs. I looked at the art fair out of hours as there were technical faults and too much traffic had shut down all the chat rooms with the galleries. They were all quite upset but I believe they need to give this new concept a chance. I made about thirty enquiries after the art fair and most probably will aquire a few works for the collection.
Our new show The Shape We`re in kicked off with two installations! One at 46 Malden Road, NW5 with Tracey Emin’s Neon.<br><br>The other in the East End at 56-58 Leather Lane, EC1 with neons by Dan Attoe and a fantastic installation by Jack Strange of his own blood.
The Royal College of Art and Goldsmiths worked amazingly well on a curatorial collaboration called Time Scale as part of Testing Ground. They were changing the collection every three hours being notified by a fox projection on the wall. Also there was a constant link to Japan as part of the project. The MA students will archive all this work and create a publication. I was very impressed.
This is an installation taken on Sat 29th to include Tobias Buche, Walead Beshty, Bernd and Hilla Becher and Katie Patterson.
Then off to Rome for Gregory Crewdson’s opening of his show at the Sanctuary. The weather was beautiful for February and the show at Gagosian looked so beautiful. The dinner was so glamorous.
Gregory had seated us between his mother Carole and himself it was a very special evening. The evening was hosted by Pepi Marchetti Franchi from Gagosian she and Gregory had taken me through the full circle from conception to creation. It has been a special personal journey for Gregory and has been an honour to have shared a little of the process with him.
Then back home to hear some interesting news. My lovely friend James Lindon has decided to open a gallery in London! We always need new talent and I hope he picks up on some of the gifted emerging artists.<br><br>Went to Trocadero with my kids and we spotted a painting painted by a horse I wonder if this work has any value!
