Frieze 2022 begins!
25 November 2022
I managed to visit the Michael Armitage show at White Cube which was magnificent
It was beautiful warm weather, and we hosted a lovely lunch for Frieze. It was lovely catching up with all our friends, many of whom we had not seen since pre-Covid
It was wonderful to have so many international visitors too; here is Patricia Marshall, Ivor Braka, Marlene Taschen, Alexandra Marshall and Lauren Taschen
Here is the lovely Katy Wickremesinghe checking out our new house hang
Caragh and I felt like we were in our school uniforms ready for school instead of an art fair!
Then it was on to see LuYang NetiNeti at the Zabludowicz Collection
The autumn weather was beautiful and warm, and we had record visitors with a 5 star review in Time Out!
We had tea with these beautiful cakes, almost too gorgeous to eat!

Me and Fatima Maleki
I checked out the sculpture garden with Olivia and loved the signs by John Wood and Paul Harrison
We enjoyed a great opening at Massimo De Carlo of the works of Jean Marie Appriou. Jean Marie stands in front of his wall works of water which were inspired by his kayaking trip in Sarvisalo, Finland
I went to Tate Modern to see the new Hyundai Commission by Chilean artist Cecilia Vicuña, with a very chic Maria Balshaw by her side
The evening was wonderful. We visited the new turret at Hauser and Wirth Mount St restaurant with Emmanuelle and Ruth Rogers underneath the octopus like creature created by Anj Smith.
Anj Smith and I being caressed by her squishy octopus!
