Home is where the heART is!

Home!
Back in London and I was Wowed by David Bowie exhibition. What a true artist he embraced so many different art cultures and unlike other musicians he dug beyond the surface and experimented and worked with so many different types of art forms. He even painted in Berlin, “Berlin Landscape with Iggy Pop” in 1978, he says a place “easy to get lost in and to find oneself too”.
Home!
The V & A had a sumptuous dinner chaired by lovely Yana Peel and Frances Sultana for the Design Fund.
Home!
Then it was a couple of West End Galleries. Jac Leirner at White Cube. An older more mature Brazilian artist she had created some wonderful conceptual works. Wish I could buy everything I liked!
Home!
I had time to drop by to Paul Pfeiffer's show “The Drives” at Thomas Dane which unsurprisingly was challenging. He had once again created another form of the All Saints stadium. Such an obsession and he told me that he wishes to recreate the whole thing in a stadium in the Philippines.
Home!
At Max Wigram Jose Davila had a wonderful show and I was convinced the Divola missing neons were actually glowing light.
Home!
Camden Arts Centre Dieter Roth show “Diaries” was a no can miss. It is very educational and very obvious that this was one of Iwan Wirth's biggest influences in art in his life, after all he did open his amazing gallery in New York with Roth.
Home!
Then it was back home to Zabludowicz Collection where the Z Team had surpassed themselves. Ellen and Lizzie had put together for me one of the most impressive shows. It made me realise how agonizing collecting is and to see it all curated so brilliantly gives me the confidence to carry on. All the rooms were amazing, Rosy Keyser had dropped by with her family from New York, her smile I believe was a reflection upon us, all very infectious.
Home!
Me and Blandy taking a little relaxing time together.
Home!
Josh Smith! WoW punchy...
Home!
Invites Lucy Tomlins what can I say. She is mature before her time as she coyly poses behind her art work in the glow of the pink butchers neon.( makes the meat look redder one of the tricks of the trade)
Home!
Then her golden Leg of Lamb proudly glowing before the light!
Home!
Scott Kings Philosophers T Towel box sets displayed in our edition shop.
Home!
Ana Vukadin managed to squeeze through the door just about to drop, as she stands infront of the magnificent Tauba Auerbach painting!
Home!
But the best part of the evening the Sausage!
Home!
On my way to NY miss my first plane due to bossy horrible BA ground staff but I arrive in time for Sound Spill performance it was haunting, with Beer but no Sausage but “Onion on the Side”. Thom O'Nions, Richard Sides and Melissa Dubbin relaxing and soaking it all in.
Home!
The musicians creating their haunting orchestrated work through the sculptural speakers, radiating the sound waves in all corners of the brightly lit neon windows of the room.
Home!
Next is Venice see you there and watch out for the red cup.
