Inspired by LuYang’s love of gaming and their use of games and game engines in their practice, join this afternoon of participatory events programmed by mayamada.

2 - 4pm Workshop: Tabletop Game Design
Budding young designers are invited to a crash course in game design. You'll be equipped with dice, card, and lots of creativity on the journey to designing your very own game that adapts a theme or mechanic from one of LuYang’s games for a tabletop setting. This workshop is aimed at those 14 – 18 years old.

5 – 7pm Tournament: Play LuYang
Join mayamada in the arcade space for an evening of LuYang gameplay and competition. From Cancer Baby to Uterus Man, try your hand at mastering games that are also art works in a special video game tournament. There will also be some fan favourite anime inspired games to play casually throughout the evening!

We will have festive treats available to celebrate our final weekend before we close for the holidays.

Please note, entry to the tournament is on a first come first served basis. We will do our best to accommodate all those who have booked a player ticket, but we suggest arriving early to avoid disappointment.
