Sofia Hultén work on loan for Ikon and Museum Tingely collaboration

Here's the Answer, What's the Question? is a new solo exhibition by Swedish artist Sofia Hultén created in collaboration with Ikon, Birmingham, and Museum Tingely, Basel. Her most comprehensive show to date, Hultén's occupation with the materiality of everyday life and its impact on our experiences of time and subjectivity will be displayed through a mixture of film, installation and sculpture. Works such as Speculative Fiction, 2016, propose a multitude of possible configurations for structures and forms typical of urban living, suggesting a mutability and strangeness that is easily forgotten in the busy pace of the city.
