Matthew Darbyshire is an artist based in the UK. He has recently presented solo exhibitions at: Stanny House, Suffolk, UK (2014); Krolikarnia National Museum, Warsaw, Poland (2014); Hepworth Gallery, Wakefield, UK (2013); Bloomberg Space, London, UK (2013); Zabludowicz Collection, London, UK (2012); and Frac Nord pas de Calais, Dunkerque, France (2013).

Testing Ground: Master Class invites leading international artists to share their expertise with a small group of emerging artists from around the country over a week long intensive workshop at Zabludowicz Collection, London. Each artist gives a public lecture as part of the programme. The project is part of Testing Ground for Art and Education, an annual season focussed on opportunities for the creative and professional development of emerging artists and curators.
