ARS17 launches in Finland featuring Jon Rafman, Charles Richardson and more

ARS17, a major exhibition showcasing international contemporary art inspired by digital technology, will take over Helsinki's Kiasma art museum from 31 March 2017 until early 2018. A range of work by artists previously exhibited at our London gallery space, including previous Annual Commission artists Ryan Trecartin and Jon Rafman, will be displayed alongside several artists represented in the Zabludowicz Collection including Ed Atkins, Cecile B. Evans, and Artie Vierkant. The exhibition seeks to bring together a diverse range of practices which unpick the innumerous ways the digital revolution of recent times has altered human experience and understanding.

Highlights include HEADBONE, an immersive installation by Charles Richardson originally commissioned for the Zabludowicz Collection Invites programme, which will be displayed for the first time since being acquired for Kiasma's international art collection. Richardson will also feature in ARS17's online exhibition ARTS17+, alongside work by previous Zabludowicz Collection collaborators David Blandy, Ed Fornieles, and Rachel Maclean.
